Susana Lau is a consultant in information technology with more than ten years of experience, she holds a Master’s in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, United States. In 2015, she founded EtyaLab, a technology company providing web and mobile solutions. She also created Mercadito, an agro-based mobile technology venture, recognized by Forbes and awarded in various competitions. Susana is passionate about entrepreneurship and supports women’s empowerment in the tech industry. She is currently the Chair of IEEE Panama and has been involved in various initiatives promoting STEM education and entrepreneurship, including founding the non-profit Fundación CREEA. Additionally, she serves on the boards of two regulated companies as an independent member contributing to technology, audit, risk, and ethics committees.
