Marie is a business strategist, executive producer, and global events leader at IEEE, the world’s largest technical professional organization. She leads the business strategy and event transformation initiatives, driving digital and virtual product line expansion, cross-cultural business development, and emergency response. Marie also serves as the Executive Producer and Founder of the annual premier event for conference organizers, #ieeeconvene.
She works collaboratively with volunteer boards and committees to deliver on our mission.
Prior to joining IEEE, Marie was the founder and managing director of The Iconic Group, a strategic marketing and business development consultancy, and the head of global events, sponsorships, and business services at Lehman Brothers, where she managed a team of over 600 professionals. She has extensive experience in creating and executing bespoke event and sponsorship programs for marquis clients and partners, such as US Open Tennis, The Louvre Museum, The NY Football Giants, and World Cup Soccer. Marie has a strong background in marketing and branding services, global research teams, travel services, diversity and inclusion program leadership, and multimedia, digital, and television operations. She prides herself on delivering innovative and impactful solutions that enhance value and visibility.
