Kimberley Odums is a distinguished attorney specializing in the protection of global intellectual property and the intricate legalities surrounding artificial intelligence at IEEE. With a robust background in managing and safeguarding intellectual assets, Kimberley plays a pivotal role in shaping IEEE’s strategies and policies in these rapidly evolving fields.

As a Senior Counsel within IEEE’s Legal & Compliance Department, Kimberley provides comprehensive legal support and is adept at handling a wide range of legal matters related to IP and AI, including trademark prosecution and management, copyright compliance, AI technology contracts, AI governance, and global regulatory compliance.

As a member of IEEE’s AI Governance Committee, Kimberley has been instrumental in steering IEEE’s position on the ethical and responsible use of AI.
