Brianne Tengan is an Electrical Engineer with BAE Systems Inc. She obtained her Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Systems Engineering & Technology Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Brianne serves as the IEEE Region 6 Young Professionals Coordinator, IEEE Hawaii Section Chair, IEEE Hawaii Young Professionals Chair, and was the Founding Chair of the IEEE Hawaii Women in Engineering Affinity Group. She is also a member of the IEEE Rising Stars Conference Publicity Committee, assisting with branding, website, social media, and outreach, and the IEEE Catalyst Ad Hoc Committee focusing on the Student to Young Professional transition. Outside of IEEE, she holds board positions in the Engineering Alumni Association of UH and the Aloha United Way Society of Young Leaders.
