Ryan O’Connor is the Program Manager, Job Fairs & Exhibits, at IEEE CEE – a position he has held since December 2023. As part of this role, Ryan oversees the growing job fairs and exhibits program. He is also the in-house subject matter expert for sponsorships and exhibit sales and seeks to help IEEE organizers optimize their exhibits and boost revenue. An example of his work includes the sponsorships and exhibits you see here at Convene. Prior to joining IEEE, Ryan worked for ten years at Informa – a large multinational event organizing company. Throughout his career, Ryan has worked on events across North America, Europe, and Asia. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from McGill University (2009) and a Master of Social Science in Anthropology from the National University of Singapore (2012). Ryan has been to over 50 countries and has lived in 5. A native of Central Jersey, he now lives in New York City with his wife and two cats.
