Lea Provost is the Sr. Program Manager, Audience Development Strategy Services for IEEE
Meetings, Conferences & Events. In her role, Lea has created and grown the event marketing
program, developing resources available to 2000+ international events per year. At IEEE, the
world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the
benefit of humanity, Lea has the honor of educating colleagues and volunteers on event
marketing and attendee engagement best practices.
Prior to IEEE, Lea’s past experience includes working at an NYC-based digital marketing
agency collaborating with brands such as Kmart, Maybelline, and Palms Las Vegas. She earned
industry recognition including a Shorty Award for Best Use of Video in a Social Media Campaign
and Webby Awards Honoree for Interactive Advertising for Retail.
Lea received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University for American Studies and
Italian. She currently lives in New Jersey with her husband and cat.
