Erin Bae

Born and raised in New Jersey, Erin Bae is the Program Manager for IEEE Conferences, Events and Experiences (CEE), where she supports the development of resources and the growth of social impact programs and initiatives across IEEE conferences and events, focusing on sustainability, community collaboration, and meaningful engagement.

With over 14 years of experience at IEEE, Erin has built trusted relationships across the organization, contributing to strategic initiatives, improving operational efficiencies, and supporting the organization’s extensive volunteer network. During a brief stint in California in 2014, she worked with the IEEE Computer Society’s conferences team, an experience that broadened her perspective and earned her the IEEE Computer Society Golden Core Member Recognition Award. Erin returned to her home state of New Jersey in 2019, where she continues her work with CEE and remains committed to creating meaningful conference experiences.

Erin holds a BA in Sociology with a minor in Art History from Kean University and a Project Management certification from Rutgers Business School. Outside of IEEE, she loves capturing moments through photography, vibing to 90’s R&B, and exploring new places while traveling. A proud Yankees fan, Erin feels most at home when gathered around a table with great food, family, and her closest friends.
