Coro Strandberg is the President of Strandberg Consulting. She is a Canadian thought leader and expert with over 30 years’ experience in sustainability, ESG and social purpose and advises business, governments, associations, and boards on strategies to leverage the marketplace to create a better world. She is a member of the senior advisory panel of the Canadian Office of the Auditor General and a member of the Canadian Standards Association sustainability committee. She co-founded the United Way BC Social Purpose Institute that helps businesses adopt and implement a social purpose and chairs the Canadian Purpose Economy Project which is creating an enabling environment to mainstream social purpose in business. Coro is a faculty member for Governance Professionals of Canada and The Directors College, where the educates directors and governance professionals on ESG, Stakeholder, and Purpose Governance. She has over twenty years of experience as a corporate director and is currently a board director with BC Lottery Corporation, where she chairs its Governance Committee. In 2016 Coro was named the top ESG Consultant in Canada by Canada’s Clean50 for her impacts. Coro lives in Burnaby B.C. in a LEED Gold Home she built with her partner.
