Aishwarya Bandla, Clinical Innovation Manager at Paxman Coolers Ltd, leads the development of a wearable device for supportive cancer care. She holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS), and her research focus spans wearable technology for oncology and neurology, human-centric digital health, and their clinical translation. Aishwarya holds joint appointments as Principle Investigator and Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the N.1 Institute for Health, and the Institute for Digital Medicine (WisDM) at NUS, and at the National University Cancer Institute of Singapore (NCIS).
An IEEE senior member, Aishwarya chairs the Region 10 Young Professionals Committee, serves as the MGA Young Professionals representative to the Student Activities Committee, and is Vice Chair of the IEEE Singapore section. Her achievements have been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the 2025 IEEE Theodore W. Hissey Outstanding Young Professional Award, 2024 Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) Innovator Award, and the 2023 NUS Outstanding Young Alumni Award. Aishwarya has also been named among Asia’s Top 50 Women Tech Leaders 2024, and Singapore’s 100 Women in Tech 2020 for influential contributions to the tech industry.
